Have you ever asked God what is His will for your
life? Just as sure as this is a commom prayer among believers, we can
be sure God's answer to each of us is different. And yet while there is
an individual plan for every life, there are basics from God's Word
that are the same for every believer.
God wants us to give thanks. "In everything give
thanks: for this is the will of
God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (I
Thessalonians 5:18, KJV)
God wants us to pray daily. "Pray without ceasing."
(I Thessalonians 5:17,
KJV)
God want us to love. "This is my commandment, That
ye love one another, as
I have loved you." (John 15:12, KJV)
God wants us to forgive. "Be ye kind one to another,
tenderhearted, forgiving
one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath
forgiven you." (Ephesians
4:32, KJV)
God wants us to depend on Him. " . . . for without me ye
can do nothing."
(John 15:5b, KJV)
Today, perhaps you are searching for God's will. As
we seek Him for direction concerning our next life-steps, may we also
remember the basics detailed above, as this too is God's will for me
and you.
